Shut down your PC, start it again and connect your USB devices. i'm using windows 10 64 bit OS. After reading the first answer above, I safely removed all USB devices (including the mouse; for the sake of purity, I used the touch pad, which I HATE, until the problem This means it affected the ps/2 ports. Given that the self-powered device works fine, I don't believe this is a hardward issue and all of my "Plug and Play" defaults are set appropriately as far as I can I have question…..there are 2 generic USB hubs also; should I turn off power mgmt to them as well?
