You should replace them with 3.0 usb ports. Found an old wired keyboard & mouse and plugged into rear of the desktop tower. If that’s the case, you can resolve the problem by updating the drivers. 1. This is of course NOT a hardware issue. It was set to off but was able to power my mp3 player.
