Cheers Bob- there have been a few strange behaviours on this laptop, but I guess I've been trying to sort them out without taking it in given the downtime involved. So, anyone interested in buying a brand new, 6 months old, Sony VGN-SZ360P laptop in perfect conditions, except for the stupid touchad issue ??? If the issue is that the pointer is moving around the screen erratically, make sure the touchpad is not accidentally being touched while using the keyboard.NOTE: Try covering the touchpad with a piece Hold the "Fn" key and then press "F1" key. As the solution provider @jack4rall suggested one only had worked. or Under Start > All Programs, look for "Vaio Support Central" and click on "Vaio Central" TouchPad options are there.
